AN ORDINANCE
PROVIDING FOR THE MODIFICATION OF THE BOUNDARY LINES
OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, BY THE DISANNEXATION
OF A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING 48.733 ACRES OF LAND
OUT OF GUADALUPE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described tract of land is contained
within the City of Schertz, Texas; and
WHEREAS, by the passage of this ordinance, disannexation of
said territory will have been brought to completion within ninety (90)
days of the in$,titution of disannexations proceedings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas, is
of the opinion and finds that such territory is not suitable at this
time for municipal purposes and that it is in the best interest of the
City of Schertz, Texas, and the citizens and inhabitants thereof that
said territory be disannexed from and cease to be a part of the said
city; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:

THAT the following described territory containing approxi-
mately 48.733 acres lying within the City of Schertz, Texas, be, and
the same is hereby removed from the City of Schertz, Texas, and said
territory shall hereinafter be excluded from the boundary limits of
said city and the various points contiguous to the area described are
hereby .altered and amended so as to exclude said land and territory
from the corporate limits of the City of Schertz, Texas; said land
being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
POINT OF BEGINNING at the intersection of Wiederstein Road
and F.M. Road 1103 being North 30°15' East, 300 feet from the inter-
section of the North Line of Wiederstein Road projected and the East
Line of F.M. Road 1103 for the Southwest corner of this survey;
THENCE, North 24°17'30" West, 3060 feet to a point being an
interior angle point in this survey;
THENCE, South 59°45' West, 480.34 feet to a point located on
the right-of-way. line of F.M. Road 1103;
THEN~E, with the Easterly right-of-way line of F.M. Road
1103, North 30 06'52" West, 531.18 feet to a point being an angle point
of this survey;
THEN~E, with the Easterly right-of-way line of F.M. Road
1103, North 15 28'00" East, 167.35 feet to the Northeast corner of
this survey, said point being a point on the Southeasterly right-
of-way line of I.H. 35;
THENCE, with the Southeast line of I'.!H. 35 as follows;
North 39°45'00" East, 338.20 feet, thence, North
54 23'00" East, 559.98 feet to a point being the
Northeast corner of this survey;
THENCE, leaving said right-of-way line of I.H. 35 as follows;
South 23015'00" East, 1099.42 feet, thence, South
30 31'36" East, 525.49 feet, thence, South 24 17'30"
East, 2138.77 feet to a point being the Southeast
corner of this survey;
THENCE, South. 59°45'00" West, 486.37 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING, containing 48.733 acres of land.
THAT the territory so described and the areas so disannexed
shall hereafter cease to be part of the City of Schertz, Texas,
