A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE CANVASS OF THE NOVEMBER 3, 2009
SPECIAL ELECTION RESULTS.
WHEREAS, an election was duly held in the City of Schertz, Texas, on the 3RD
day of November 2009 concerning the City's Curbside Recycling Program; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council duly canvassed the vote of said election
on this the 17th day of November, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the canvass showed the following results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I
The City Council finds that the results of the special election as set forth above
are correct and the canvass of votes is hereby approved.
SECTION II
The total of votes cast during early voting was 823 by personal appearance, and
934 votes were cast on Election Day. The total number of votes cast in this election
was 1757.
SECTION III
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day o ove er, 2009.
