SPECIAL MEETING, October 13,2009
The Schertz Planning and Zoning Commission convened on October 13,2009 at 5:30 p.m. at the Municipal
Complex, Council Chambers, 1400 Schertz Parkway Building #4, Schertz, Texas.

Mr. Evans called the meeting to order at 5:35 P.M.

HEARING OF RESIDENTS
No citizen comments.

PUBLIC HEARINGS:

ZC2009-006
Hold a public hearing, consider and act upon a request to rezone approximately 50::1:: acres of land from
Manufacturing District-Light (M-I) and General Business District (GB) to Manufacturing District-
Light (M-I). The property is more specifically described as a portion of the C.M Gahagan Survey No.
258 Abstract No. 182 and of the J.F. Zepeda Survey No. 257 Abstract 685, generally located 565::1:: feet
north of the intersection ofIH-35 and Schwab Road.
Public hearing opened at 5:37 pm.
Ms. Sanchez reviewed staff comments on the rezoning. She advised the Commission that if a site plan
for the property is not submitted by June 20 I 0 the zoning would revert back to the Manufacturing District
Light and General Business.
Public hearing closed at 5:43 pm.
Mr. Evans recognized Mr. Antuna to speak.
Mr. Antuna spoke briefly on the request.
Mr. Greenwald moved to forward a recommendation of approval to City Council. Ms. Tutschke
seconded the motion. Vote unanimous. Motion carried.
