Mr. Qushh, fire marshall, met with the capmission and explained
how the city adopts the codes put out by the National Board of Fire
Underwriters.
Mr. Dunham read ordinance No.162 dealing with the city adopting
the new 1965 code of the National Board of Fire Underwriters. Mr.
Dunham+- wi i l check on new edi t.i ons of Fire Prevention Code for the
city of Schertz.
Mr. Busch stated ~e feels the city fire prevention codes and
ordinances are adaquat.e for our city. -
Mr. Retie moved, seconded by Mr. Bennet that the commission accept
the fire prevention code and ordinances as amended. Motion carried.
It was the general consent of the commission that Mr. Dunham
" contact the city and urge possibility of the city purchasing a 2nd
fire truck.
