03-11-1970 The City Planning Commission met Wednesday night March 11, 197Q,
All Members Present.
A proposal from Richard M. Sarver to build a cabinet shop at $14.
Main Street tnTas reviewed.
Mr. Conner moved, seconded by Mr. Sandifer that we recommend to
the City Council that Dicks' Cabinet Shop be approved provided all
city building restrictions and fire ordinances are met, as well as
frontage for building meets Urban Renewal specifications after
.:widening of Main Street. Motion carried.
Mr. Conner moved seconded by Mr. Sandifer that business concerning
a carport received from Mr. Christian be taken from the table.
Motion carried.
Mr. Conner moved seconded by Mr. Rhea treat it is recommended to
the city council that permission be denied on this carport unless
zoning ordinance of 25~ from property line be maintained.
Motion carried.
Discussion then centered around Mr. Schaefers recommendations
that we review sidewalk ordinance.
Mr. Wise moved, seconded by Mr. Rhea that business concerning
sidewalks ~e tabled until the Planning Commission could meet with
Mr. Mock, City Consultant. Motion carried.
Mr. Sandifer moved seconded by Mr. Rhea that. the, meeting be
adjourned. Motion carried.
