08-04-1971 MINt3TES OF TFIE ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION August 4, 1971 The regular meeting of the zoning and planning commission was called to order at 7:3U PM by Chairman Weldon Willbanks. A letter from Mrs. F. H. Rusch, requesting permission to continue to maintain a trailer lot at 203 Randolph located at the corner of Randolph and Exchange Streets as a trailer park. The lot was established as a trailer park in 1952. G.V.E.C. records confirm that electric lights were connected to this site on April 4., 1952. This owner would-like to continue this lot which occupies two trailers. One trailer lot is now .vacated but wishes to put another trailer there. A motion was made by Mr. Sandifer and seconded by Mr. Norwine to adopt the letter from Mrs. Rusch. it was voted on and carried. A proposal was made by Mr. Edgar Von Scheele to adopt and approve the Valverde Subdivision. Subject to inspection by the fire marshall concerning the fire plugs, a motion was made by Mr. Mansfield and seconded by Mr. Sharp to adopt the Valverde Subdivision. The motion carried. Mr. von3cheele also proposed a 68 apartment unit in approximately the same location for six multiple units. A motion was made by Mr. Norwine, seconded by Mr. Decker to change the zoning from R-1 to R-4. The motion carried. Guests at the meeting were Mr. Weston Wright and Mr. Edgar Von Scheele.
