#2 The meeting was called to order by Chairman Wise at 7:30 P.M.
#3 The representative from Quincy Lee Corporation was not present to brief
the Planning & Zoning Commission on the proposed building on IH 35, so
no action was taken at this time on this item.
#4 Review of Proposed Subdivision Ordinance, Sections 1 through 14.
The City Staff presented the first portion of the proposed Subdivision
Ordinance to the P&Z Commission for their review and critique.
The Commission members all presented meaningful optimal dialogue
on all fourteen sections of the proposed subdivision ordinance.
Their only concern was in the legal terminology of the words "shall",
"will" and "may". It was suggested by the P&Z Commission members that
the City Staff consult with Mr. Richard Harris, City Attorney, on this
matter and bring his recommendations back to P&Z at the next meeting.
