2. The first item on the agenda was a request for final approval of the
Northcliff Subdivision ( Homecraft) plat and construction plans. The
Commission was advised by Mr. Mike Rhea, City Employee, that the City
Engineer feels that there are unresolved problems, concerning drainage
in respect to this subdivision. Therefore the Commission will take
no final approval action on these plans until this problem is resolved.
It was also noted by the Commission that no open spaces, throughout
the entire subdivision, were allocated for future public service
organizations; i.e. police department, and fire station. The Com-
mission feels that a letter from our City Manager to Homecraft citing
the above problem and need for open spaces is appropriate.
3. The Commission was also informed by Mr. Rhea that Mr. Naylor is desirous
of vacating his plat and resubdividing his property. The Commission
found no objections to Mr. Naylor's preliminary request. However,
Mr. Naylor's preliminary maps are not accurate. The Commission requests
that the City Manager send a letter to Mr. Naylor, advising him as to
what is wrong with his preliminary plat, and how to proceed with his
request in accordance with our ordinances.
