SPECIAL SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
JULY 26, 1974
The Schertz City Council convened in Special Session, Friday,
July 26, 1974 at 5:03 P.M, in the Council Chambers, 608 Live
Oak Read with the following members present: Mayor Robert C,
Bueker, presiding: Councilmembers Robert E. Schwartz, Donald
J. Seeba, Nell G. Funk, ane?~ Tom Koole. Absent: Mrs. Koch.
Mayor Bueker explained the purpose of the meeting was to consi-
der the emergency passage of an ordinance annexing two tracts of
Land containing 71.65 acres and 112.288 acres of Land.
The Mayor introduced the following captioned ordinance which ,~j~'
was read in full by the Mayor. Councilmember Funk moved that ~~~~~
said ordinance be considered by the Council as an emergency
measure. Said motion was seconded by Mr. Seeba. Whereupon,
said motion was fully discussed and considered, The Mayor put
the motion to consider said ordinance as an emergency measure
to the members of the City Council and said motion was approved
and adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: All Councilmembers present voted "Aye".
Nays : None .
The Mayor introduced the hereinafter set forth ordinance as an

emergency measure. Thereupon it was moved by Councilmember Funk ,;~~~-
and seconded by Mr. Seeba that said ordinance be finally passed ~""
and adopted. The Mayor put the motion to the members of the City
Council for vote and the ordinance was finally adopted by the
following vote:
Ayes: All Councilmembers shown present voted "Aye".
Nays: None
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS BY
THE ANNEXATION OF TWO (2) CERTAIN TRACTS OR PAR-
CELS OF LAND CONTAINING 71.65 ACRES AND 112.288
ACRES, RESPECTIVELY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Mr. Seeba moved to authorize Mayor Bueker to sign a letter to ~c~.-r1~
the Mayor of the City of Cibolo setting out an intent or agree--~
ment of boundary Lines between the City of Schertz and the City
of Cibolo. Mr. Schwartz seconded the motion which carried with
the following vote:
Ayes: Mr. Seeba, Mr. Schwartz, Mrs. Funk and Mr. Koole.
Nays: None
Mrs. Funk moved the meeting be adjourned at 5:18 P.M.
Mr. Schwartz seconded the motion which carried with an unanimous
vote.
