The Transportation Safety Advisory Commission (TSAQ convened on December 3
5, 2009 at 5.30 pm in the Council Chamber Conference Room, Building # 4, 1400
Schertz Parkway, 5chertz, Texas 78154.
CALL TO ORDER AT 5:30 P.M

• Mr. Brockman. 1044 Ethel Road, Apt. #14, who was present to ask about the
flashing school sign on Elbel Road, should be moved to Aero.
• Southwest of FM 3009 — Elbe] Road cross walk sign doesn't work, brought up
at November 5, 2009 meeting. Mr. Brockman said that it hard to find things
to comment on around town.
1. Minutes - Consideration and or action regarding the approval of the minutes of
November 5, 2409. Motion to accept November 5, 2009 minutes by Max Hernandez,
seconded by Doreen Bowers with minor corrections. -All Ayes-
2. Introduction of new Alternate Commissioners: - Joey Bishop and Deborah Stone
were welcomed to the board by Chairman Andy Bowers and Commissioners.

3. City Engineer Report Larry Dublin — City Engineer to brief Commission on status
on the following projects.
• Chelsea- Wiederstein Road closed for 90 days for construction
■ Rural Road construction has started and road closure to through traffic during
the day hours. Residents that live in the area will be able to get to their homes.
City is trying to maintain the roads open during the evening hours.
• Wiederstein Road bid awarded road closed for 90 to lil0 days for
construction.
County road work from the bridge on Sebertz city limits to Selma city limits.
• Turn lanes on Savannah Drive
• Update on bicycle lanes and paths
• TxDot installing Traffic lights at FM 1103 and IH 35 access road and possible
turning lane.
4. Items placed on Next Agenda - Consideration and or action on questions and
possible items placed on the next agenda. (Commission Members)
• Lauric and Maple— change the yield sign to stop sign.

Ayes
Meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m. The next meeting will be on January 7,20 10 at 5:30 p.m.
