AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TtH!I CITY OF
SCttERTZ, TEXAS, EST~LIS~NG THE
G.D. BAR REII~ESTMENT ZONE.
WHEREAS, Secti°n 312 of the Texas Property Tax Code allows the creation of
Reinvestment Zones; and,
WHEREAS, the property (hereinafter called the Property) is owned by GD Bar
Family Limited Partnership, described as approximately 5.08g acres In Guadalupe
County, Texas. All of 5.~83 acres being sltuated In the Torrlbio Herrera Survey No.
68, Abstract N°. 153 known as Block 2, Lots 5 and 14 of the Tri-County Business and
Industrial Park, Unit l, as recorded in Volume 4, Pages 337-340, of the plat records of
Guadalupe County, Texas, together with abutter's rights of access to and from the
physically open and publicly maintained street known as IH35.
WHEREAS, it is the belief of the City Council that by establishing the GD BAR
REINVESTMENT ZONE, it is reasonably likely to contribute to the retention 'or
· expansion of primary employment or to attract major investment in the zone that
would benefit the property and would contribute to the economic development of the
property; and,
WHEREAS, it has been the stated policy of this Council to support and promote
the economic development of this community; and

was held to receive public comment
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS-
THAT, City Council of the City of Schertz hereby establishes the GD BAR
REINVESTMENT ZONE under the provisions of Section 312 of the Texas Property Tax
Code.
