2003T33-REINVESTMENT ZONEORDINANCE NO. /93- 7--33
AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING THE
WALKO REINVESTMENT ZONE.
WHEREAS, Section 312 of the Texas Property Tax Code allows the creation of
Re/nvestment Zones; and,
WHEREAS, the property (hereinafter called the Property) is owned by WALKO
I1WEBTME~$, INC., described as Block 2, Lots 3 & 4 which include
approximately 2.6 acres in the Schertz Industrial Park on Bell North Drive in
the City of Schertz, Comal County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, it is the belief of the City Council that by establishing the WALKO
REINVESTMENT ZONE, it is reasonably likely to contribute to the retention or
expansion of primary employment or to attract major investment in the zone that
would benefit the property and would contribute to the economic development of the
property; and,
WHEREAS, it has been the stated policy of this Council to support and Promote
the economic development of this community; and

WHEREAS, a PUblic Hearing
was held to receive public comment
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS'
THAT, City Council of the City of Schertz hereby establishes the WALKO
REINVESTMENT ZONE under the provisions of Section 312 of the Texas Property Tax
Code.
