members will select a chairperson and vice chairperson from among the
regular members to officiate meetings during the first meeting of each
calendar year. The Commission will determine if additional officers are
needed."
Motion made by Larry Franklin and seconded by Stephen Bish to select
Andy Bores as Chairperson and Mary Spence as Mice Chairperson. All
Ayes.

Concerns with speeding on Covers Cove, no police present,
requested traffic machine placed on regular bases, requested speed

Speeding on Planters Pass, streets without speed limit signs,
requested traffic study. Item placed on June TSAC agenda.

~ Robert Brockman, 1000 Elbel Road, #411 -Concern about visibility
at Oak Street and Aero. Monument is within regulations but just
seems to be to close to the intersection making it hard to see on
coming traffic.

minutes of December 3, 2010. Motion to accept December 3, 2010
minutes by; Doreen Bowers second by Larry Franklin -All Ayes-

meeting.
4. Neli Deane -Increasing speed limit from 20 mph to 30 mph. from
Oak Street to FM 1518. Recommended forwarding to City Council for
action. Motion made by Larry Franklin and second by Stephen Bish.

5. NTe~tehester Drive - No Parking on either side of street.
No parking from Elbel Road to drainage ditch on Westchester Drive.
Recommended forwarding to City Council for action. Motion made by

'T. City Engineer Report -City Engineer to brief Commission on status
of bond projects.
• Northcliffe Streets Phase I completed.
® Country Club - flatwork completed this week, paving starting next
week. There are some issues with the street and staff/contractors
are working these.
® West Dietz Creek Bridge - 2 weeks away from completion. Traffic
should be open to through traffic to Selma shortly.
® Rural Roads -paving in 2 weeks, Ware Seguin ls~, Boenig 2~d and
Greytown 3~~. Phase II 50% designed.
® Green Valley Road 85% completed

. FM 3009 Relocate 2 months ahead of schedule. Ready very soon
to flip traffic to other side. 1 year for completion of project,
Bridges should be completed in two months.
