AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING
CHAPTER 19, WATER, WASTEWATER AND WASTE DISPOSAL,
EXHIBIT 5, SEWER RATES ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE; AND, PROVIDING A REPEALING
CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:
SECTION I
THAT Section 19, Exhibit 5 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Schertz, Texas be amended as follows:
"Sec. 19, Exhibit 5, Para. (1) b.
User Charge - - Each single-family residential user of the
sewer system shall be assessed a monthly rate based on one
hundred percent (100%) of the user's average water
consumption during the lowest three months of the previous
twelve month period. Revisions to be implemented with the
April, 1997 billing."

This ordinance shall become
