ABANDONING AN EASEMENT FOR STREET
PURPOSES ALONG A PORTION OF WRIGHT
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF SCHERTZ.
TEXAS
WHEREAS. heretofore on the 9th day of January, 1951
Mrs. Elsie Koch caused a plat of Koch Addition. being a tract
of land lying in the G. Malpaz Su~vey No. 67. Guadalupe County,
Texas. and being a part of what was known as the Fred Schertz
100 acres described in deed recorded in Volume 9, Page 387. of
the Deed Records of Guadalupe County. Texas. to be recorded in
Volume

. of the Deed and Plat Records
of Guadalupe County, Texas; and
WHEREAS. by virtue of the recording of said plat said
Elsie Koch. Grantor. did dedicate a 60' right-of-way easement
for street purposes designated as Wright Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the
portion of such dedicated street lying East of Pfeil Street
and hereinafter more particularly described. is not needed
for street purposes and that such easement should be aban-
doned; THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT that portion of Wright Avenue within the cor-
porate limits of the City of Schertz. Texas more particularly
described as follows, to-wit:
Being 0.275 acres of land out of G. Malpaz
Survey No. 67, Guadalupe County, Texas, and
being a part of that certain 90 acre tract
of land more or less, conveyed by Ferdinand
Schertz. et ux, to C. W. Koch. et ux. by
deed dated April 9, 1945 and recorded in
Vol. 209. pages 169-170 of the Deed Records
of Guadalupe County. Texas.

Beginning at a point being the intersection
of the North right-of-way line of Curtiss
Avenue and the East right-of-way line of
Pfeil Street;
THENCE N 300 05' w, 286' along the east
right-of-way line of Pfeil Street to the
place of beginning;
THENCE continuing the East ROW line of Pfeil
Street N 300 05' W 60' to a point;
THENCE N 290 43' E 200' to a point;
THENCE S 300 05' W 60' to a point, being the
Northeast corner of Lot 16. Block 6, Koch
Subdivision #1;
THENCE S 590 43' W 200' along the north line
of Koch Subdivision #1 to the point of be-
ginning and containing 0.275 acres.
be, and the same is hereby, abandoned for street purposes
and the easement for such purposes heretofore and presently
asserted by the City of Schertz, Texas is abandoned and the
rights and claims of the City of Schertz for such purpose
shall revert to the original Grantor, Elsie Koch, or those
persons presently claiming under her.
