Hearing of Residents
This time is set -aside for any person who wishes to address the City Council. Each person
should fill out the speaker's register prior to the meeting. Presentations should be limited
to no more than S minutes. Discussion by the Council of any item not on the agenda shall
be limited to statements of specific factual information given in response to any inquiry, a
recitation of existing policy in response to an inquiry, and/or a proposal to place the item
on a future agenda. The presiding officer, during the Hearing of Residents portion of the
agenda, will call on those persons who have signed up to speak in the order they have
registered.

Minutes - Consideration and /or action regarding the approval of the minutes of the
Regular Meeting of December 21, 2010.
2. Ordinance 10 -D -39 — Stop Sign Designation — Consideration and /or action
approving an Ordinance amending Section 86 -41 Stop Intersections - Designated of
the City of Schertz Code of Ordinances by designing a stop sign at the intersection of
01 -04 -2011 Council Agenda
Misty Hollow Drive and Shady Brook (Wynn Brook Subdivision). Final Reading (L.

3. Resolution No. 10 -R -77 — Consideration and /or action approving a resolution
regarding a development agreement with DDC Ashton, Ltd., relating to Merritt
Lakeside Senior Village. (M. Spain/M. Sanchez) This was postponed at the last
meeting due to applicant not being able to attend.
4. Ordinance No. 11 -F -01 - Center Point Energy Resources Corp. — Consideration
and /or action approving first reading of an ordinance renewing and extending a non-
exclusive gas franchise with Center Point Energy Resources Corp. First Reading (D.
Taylor/Robert Sanders)
5. Ordinance No. 11 -J -02 — Consideration and /or action approving an Ordinance
releasing certain land from the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction and declaring an
emergency. First and Final Reading (M. Spain)
6. Appointment to the Cibolo Valley Local Government Corporation —
Consideration and /or action appointing a representative of Schertz to the Cibolo
Valley Local Government Corporation. (J. Bierschwale)
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Called under Section 551.071 Texas Government Code Litigation, pending litigation;
Section 551.072 Texas Government Code - Deliberation regarding the purchase,
exchange, sale, lease, or value of real property and Section 551.074 the appointment,
employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of the City
Secretary.
