REGULAR MEETING
January 31, 2011
A Special Community Planning & Design Charrette Workshop was held by the Schertz City
Council as well as various Boards and Commissions of the City of Schertz, Texas, an January
31, 201 i, at 6:00 p.m., in the Schertz Civic Center, 1400 Schertz Parkway, Building S, Schertz,
Texas. The following members present to-wit:

1. Discussion regarding a planning and design Charrette on the northern part of Schertz,
especially the area from FM 3049 to Friesenhahn Road, and I-35 to FM 2252
{Nacogdoches Road}. (D. Harris/Scott Polikov)
Mayor Baldwin welcomed everyone in attendance and introduced Assistant City
Manager David Harris who provided opening comments and introduced Mr. Frank
Pakuszewski, Developer for Gateway Planning who provided a brief PowerPoint

Mr. Pakuszewski, conducted a series of questions for the members of the audience,
utilizing a key pad polling system regarding their preferences far the following:

Mayor Baldwin and Assistant City Manager David Harris adjourned the Planning Charrette for
the evening at 8:35 p.m. and reminded everyone about the Planning & Design Charrette
stakeholders meeting tomorrow during the day and the comm 'ty meeting starting at 6:00 p.m.
