AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE, NO.
87-S-11, ARTICLE II, PROCEDURE; AND PROVIDING
A REPEALING CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS

THAT, Subdivision Ordinance 87-S-11 of the City of
Schertz, Texas, Article II, Procedure, Section 15, Preliminary
Plat, Paragraph 15.3, is hereby amended in the following manner:
"Article II, Paragraph 15.3
Change Title of Paragraph
FROM:
Overall Pre1iminarv Lavout Plat of Laraer Tract or Master
Plan.
TO: Preparation and Submission of a Master Plan.
Add to End of Paragraph:
An approved Master Plan shall terminate in one
date approved by the Planning and Zoning
preliminary plat has not been submitted.

THAT, Subdivision Ordinance 87-S-11 of the City of
Texas, Article II, Procedure, Section 16, Final Plat,
16.3, is hereby amended in the following manner:
To preclude changing the number of several paragraphs, recommend
the following be added as paragraph 16.3.1 after Paragraph 16.3 e:
16.3.1 Termination of Unrecorded Final Plat.
a. A final plat shall terminate in two (2) years from the date
approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission. Variances shall
also be terminated on this date.
b. Subdivider may request, in writing with complete justification,
a six (6) month extension. No further extension will be granted.
c. The subdivider will be notified in writing of the termination
of the final plat.
III
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed."
