AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE NO.
80-S-13, ARTICLE III, SECTION 18.10 STREET
AND TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT Subdivision Ordinance No. 80-S-l3 of the City of
Schertz, Texas is hereby amended in the following manner:
"ARTICLE III
SECTION 18.10
Street and Traffic Control Signs.
All street signs in a new sub-
division within the City limits,
including street name, speed limit,
stop and yield signs, etc. shall be
installed by the subdivider upon
occupancy of a dwelling on a parti-
cular street. (See Exhibit "A" for
specifications.) Traffic control
devices required within the sub-
division shall be installed in
accordance with the latest revision
of the Manual of Uniform Traffic
Devices for Streets and Highways."

The Commission voted unanimously to recommend this amendment to close a loop hole
in the current ordinance.
