AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 79-
S-15 BY REZONING 2.087 ACRES OF LAND IN OAK
FOREST, UNIT 4, OUT OF GUADALUPE COUNTY AND
REFLECTING SUCH CHANGE ON CERTAIN ZONING
MAPS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SCHERTZ ZONING
ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I
THAT Zoning Ordinance No. 79-S-15 of the City of
Schertz, Texas, is hereby amended in the following manner:
"A 2.087 acre tract of land in Oak Forest,
Unit 4, is changed in classification to
Office and Professional (OP) zoning."
SECTION II
THAT the Zoning Distr ict Maps,

Dear Mr. Gilmore:
This letter constitutes written request for rezoning parcel of property
located along FM 3009 (Jack Hays Blvd) known as Oak Forest Unit 4, being
2.087 acres of land out of the R. Martin and J. F. Walker Survey No. 118,
Abstract No. 245, Guadalupe County, Texas, from the present residential
zoning to office and professional zoning.
After careful consideration and numerous consultations with City of Schertz
representatives, it is our belief an attractive professional building would
be a great asset to the City of Schertz and surrounding area and represents
the highest and best use' of subject property.
Attached is information necessary for amendment petition to include plat
map, legal description and a list of land owners within 200 feet of the
property. We request this petition be presented at Schertz City Council
meeting, Tuesday, 25 February 1986.
