AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE (ORDINANCE
74-S-48) OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ: CHANGING
THE CLASSIFICATION OF ONE CERTAIN TRACT OF
LAND FROM R-2 TO R-4 DESIGNATION, AND RE-
FLECTING SAID CHANGE ON CERTAIN ZONING
DISTRICT MAPS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
9 AND SECTION 12 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Roy Ruiz, a property owner, has requested a change
in the zoning of his property, described below, in accordance with Section
12.2 of the Zoning Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the procedures outlined in Article III, Section 12,
Amendments, have been followed, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has voted favor-
ably to recommend that the zoning change be approved and has reported same
to the City Secretary,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, THAT:
The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Schertz, Texas, Ordinance
No. 74-S-48 is hereby amended in the following manner:
(a) the zoning on a property located at the
Southwest Corner of Church and First Streets,
being more particularly described as the North
147 feet of a 210' x 1051 tract of land out of
the G. Ma1paz Survey shall be changed from R-2
to an R-4 (Multiple Residence Dwelling) District.
(b) the zoning District Maps, described and re-
ferenced in Section 9.2.2 and 9.2.3, shall be
changed to indicate this amendment.
