AMENDING mE CITY OF SaIERTZ ZONING AND PLANNING ORDINANCE
#139 PROVIDING FOR A aIANGE IN THE TDtPORARY R-1 CLASSIFICA-
TION AS PROVIDED FOR NEWLY ANNEXED TERRITORIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OOUNCIL, CITY OF SCHERTZ, GUADALUPE OOUNTY,
TEXAS tha t :
Chapter 22-4: Zoning of Annexed Areas, subparagraph B. of the
City of Schertz Zoning Ordinance 1139 is hereby deleted and the follow-
ing substituted therefor:
Chapter 22-4: Zoning of Annexed Areas, subparagraph B. All terri-
tory annexed to the City of Schertz shall be classified as R-1 Single
Family Residence District. The Planning Commission of the City of Schertz
shall, at the time a higher land use is required, recommend to the City
Commission a higher permanent zoning, and the procedure to be followed
shall be the same as is provided by law for the adoption of original zoning
regulations.
