REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER TWO, CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
REGULAR MEETING
October 13, 2009
A regular meeting was held by the Reinvestment Zone Number Two, City of Schertz, Texas
(TIRZ) on October 13, 2009 at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chamber Conference Room, 1400
Schertz Parkway. Building #4, Schertz, Texas. The following members and staff were present,
to-wit:

Board Member Steve White Michael Spain
Board Member Larry Anderson Larry Dublin
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Bob Cantu at 5:30 p.m.
1. Approval of minutes from August 18, 2009.
Steve White made motion to approve minutes, as corrected. Seconded by Chris Price.
Motion Carried. Vote was unanimous.
2. Briefing on Sedona Project
Larry Aiken gave an update on the Sedona Project. Lease has been signed with interim
treatment plant company. Larry Aiken to set up meeting with Larry Dublin, Michael
Spain company providing the equipment and Public Works representatives to go over
specifications of equipment and lease agreement. Nine (9) houses have completed
closing paperwork, thirteen (13) are under construction, and ten (10) plans are ready to be
picked up fi•om City Hall. Partnership in process of donating land for park and EMS/Fire
Station. Larry Aiken to get release of liens before process can be completed. DR Horton
as the second builder is in place and ready to begin in thirty (30) days. Discussion
concerning Woman Hollering Creek bridge on FM 1518 and getting the project on
TxDOT's list for shovel ready projects.
3. Report on Tax Increment deposits
Michael Spain reported that tax parcels for the TIRZ need to be provided so that taxing
jurisdictions can provide tax payments to the TIRZ. Larry Aiken to complete this and
turned into Michael Spain by the end of the month.

Vice Chair Bob Cantu adjourned the meeting at 5:50 p.m.
