REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER TWO, CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 8, 2009
A regular meeting was held by the Reinvestment Zone Number Two, City of Schertz, Texas
(TIRZ) on December 8, 2009 at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chamber Conference Room, 1400
Schertz Parkway. Building #4, Schertz, Texas. The following members and staff were present,
to-wit:

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Bob Cantu at 5:32 p.m.
1. Approval of minutes from October 13, 2009.
Steve White made motion to approve minutes, as corrected. Seconded by John
Bierschwale. Motion carried. Vote was unanimous.
2. Election of OfFcers
Gary Inmon was announced as a new board member.
Michael Carpenter was nominated for the Chair position by Bob Cantu. Seconded by
George Antuna. Motion carried. Vote was unanimous.
Bob Cantu was nominated for the Vice Chair position by John Bierschwale. Seconded
by Steve White. Motion canied. Vote was unanimous.
Steve White was nominated for the Secretary/Treasurer position by John Bierschwale.
Seconded by Larry Aiken. Motion carried. Vote was unanimous.
George Antuna was nominated for the Asst. Secretary/Treasurer position by John
Bierschwale. Seconded by Gary Inmon. Motion carried. Vote was unanimous.
All terms listed above expire September 30, 2010.
3. Briefing on status of Sedona Project
16 homes final and/or occupied. 11 under construction. 4 pending plan review. All
homes are Lamar, none are DR Horton. DR Horton has obligated to take 9 lots and
homes to be under construction by first quarter of 2010. Price point to be $140-180K.
Lift Station and Waste Water Treatment Plant are in the planning stages. Properties for
Fire and EMS substation as well as park have been closed. Schools are being planned by
both Shikinah Radiance Academy and Scheitz Cibolo Universal City ISD. An updated
performance projection will be ready the first quarter of 2010.
4. Report on Tax Increment Deposits
Computer transmission errors have delayed the delivery of Tax ID parcels for the project.
Error will be corrected and parcels will be available for review before the February 2010
meeting. City of Schertz Finance has collected impact fees in the amount of $SSK.
Michael Spain to confirm where these funds should go.
