REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER TWO, CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
REGULAR MEETING
AUGUST 18, 2009
A regular meeting was held by the Reinvestment Zone Number Two City of Schertz, Texas
(TIRZ) on October 13, 2009 at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chamber Conference Room, 1400
Schertz Parkway. Building #4, Schertz, Texas. The following members and staff were present,
to-wit:

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Bob Cantu at 5:30 p.m.
1. Approval of minutes from June 9, 2009.
Steve White made motion to approve minutes, as corrected. Seconded by Melvin Golla.
Vote was unanimous. Motion Carried.
2. Briefing on Sedona Project
Larry Aiken gave an update on the Sedona Project. Engineering has received go ahead to
contract out lift station and force main, working out issues with electrical service and
other issues for lift station. Currently four (4) units are occupied, eight (8) are sold, and
twenty (20) are in build stage. Estimating fifty-seven (57) homes by end of 2009, two-
hundred (200) by end of second quarter of 2010. Park dedication to the City and for Fire
Station needs to be completed. Larry will meet with school district regarding elementary
school. Stimulus money could be used to improve creek crossing on FM 1518.
3. Report on Tax Increment deposits
Michael Spain reported that tax parcels need to be correct and listed. Need the tax rates
to start paying fees to taxing jurisdictions.

Vice Chair Bob Cantu adjowned the meeting at 5:55 p.m.
