RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO CREATION OF
MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT
WHEREAS, JWD Management Corporation, Trustee has filed a request for consent from
the City of Schertz, Texas (the "City') for the creation by the Texas Legislature of one or more
municipal utility districts entirely within the corporate boundaries of the City comprising some
or all of the land (the "Land") described on Exhibit A (whether one or more municipal utility
districts the "District")' and
, ,
WHEREAS, it is proposed that the District make provision for retail water, wastewater,
drainage, and other facilities and services to the Land within its boundaries; and
WHEREAS, the Land and the proposed District lie entirely within the corporate
boundaries of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to consent to creation ofthe District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
Section I. The City hereby grants its consent to (a) the inclusion of some or all ofthe
Land within the District, and (b) the creation of the District and the granting to the District of
such powers as the Texas Legislature may deem appropriate and not inconsistent with the
District existing and operating within the corporate boundaries of, and subject to all ordinances
of, the City.
Section 2. The recitals of this Resolution are hereby found to be true and are
incorporated herein for all purposes.
