A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, CALLING FOR
SUPPORT OF THE PROPOSED LUMBERMAN'S INVESTMENT
CORPORATION TO BUILD A PGA RESORT FACILITY IN THE SAN
ANTONIO METROCOM AREA.
WHEREAS, the Lumberman's Investment Corporation is proposing
development of 2861 acres for a PGA Resort in the San Antonio
Metrocom area; and
WHEREAS, this project would create employment for Metrocom Cities;
and
WHEREAS, the Edwards Aquifer Authority has included in the proposed
agreement that the project meet the highest development standards and
monitoring; and
WHEREAS, the project will be regulated by the Edwards Aquifer Authority
and the City of San Antonio.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Schertz,
Texas to:
Hereby go on record as supporting the development of said project.
