A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
ADOPTING AN AREA AS A NAMED NEIGHBORHOOD AS A
COMPONENT OF THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE 20-YEAR
LAND USE PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive 20-Year Land Use Plan of the City of
Schertz, approved in March 2002, calls for involvement of City residents; and
WHEREAS, the area south of Randolph Air Force Base was annexed
into the City of Schertz in 1986; and
WHEREAS, the area within the City limits bounded by the area
between FM 1604, IH-10, FM 1518 and Lower Seguin Road to the Randolph Air
Force Base boundary does not have a neighborhood name;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
THAT, the name Schertz-Randolph Neighborhood is approved for this
area as a component of the Schertz Comprehensive 20-Year Land Use Plan.
