A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS APPROVING THE
SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION STATEWIDE TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT
PROGRAM FOR A PROJECT NOMINATION PROVIDED BY THE
TRANSPORTRATION EQUITY ACT FOR THE 21 ST CENTURY
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz, Texas desires to submit an application for the
development of the Schertz Walking/Hiking/Biking Trail; and
WHEREAS, the enhancement program will be utilized to promote health,
welfare, and tourism in the City of Schertz; and
WHEREAS, the City of Schertz desires to establish its commitment to pledge the
20% match in accordance with the Texas Transportation Enhancement guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the City commits to the projects' development, implementation,
construction, maintenance, and fmancing
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS that the mayor is authorized
to execute all documents necessary for the submission of the Schertz
Walking/Hiking/Biking Trail.
