A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE CANVASS OF THE MAY 8, 2010 GENERAL
AND SPECIAL ELECTION RESULTS.
WHEREAS, an election was duly held in the City of Schertz, Texas, on the 8T"
day of May 2010 to elect a Mayor and Council Member Places 1, 2, and 4; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council duly canvassed the vote of said election
on this the 11th day of May, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the canvass showed the following results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I
The City Council finds that the results of the general and special elections as set
forth above are correct and the canvass of votes is hereby approved.
SECTION it
The total of votes cast during early voting was 697 by personal appearance, and
591 votes were cast on Election Day. The total number of votes cast in this election
was 1288.
SECTION 111
Hal Baldwin Is hereby declared to have been elected to
Mayor.
Jim Fowler is hereby declared to have been elected to
the Office of Council Member Place 1.
David L. Scagliola Is hereby declared to have been elected to
the Office of Council Member Place 2.
Cedric Edwards Is hereby declared to have been elected to
the Office of Council Member Place 4.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 11th day q~f May, 2,10.
