RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE CITY OF SCHERTZ OFFICIAL FLAG
WHEREAS, the City Council (the "City Council") of the City of Schertz (the "City")
desires to adopt an official City flag;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SCHERTZ:
SECTION 1. Adoption of Fla~, The City Council hereby adopts the flag described on
Exhibit A attached hereto as the official flag of the City and directs that it be exhibited in
appropriate locations and at appropriate events as determined from time to time by the City
Manager,
SECTION 2. Effective Date, This Resolution shall take effect n the date of passage
hereof

The official City flag shall be three (3) feet high by five (5) feet wide and shall have the
following colors and design on each side of the flag:
