A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS CHANGING THE NAME OF LIVE
OAK BOULEVARD TO WIEDERSTEIN ROAD
give
from
l'lHEREltS,
the City
FM 1518 to
the extension of Live Oak Boulevard would
of Schertz a major north/south thoroughfare
FH 1103; and
WHEREAS, it is expected that the portion of this
thoroughfare from FM 1518 to FM 3009 would be completed
within the next five years, and the portion from FM 3009 to
FM 1103 in approximately ten years; and
WHEREAS, a major thoroughfare such as this would give
additional ingress/egress for future development; and
WHEREAS, the City has received at least the verbal
cooperation from both the City of Selma and the City of
Cibolo on this proposal: and
WHEREAS, public hearings have been held by the
Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council, with no
negative response; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS
THAT the name of Live Oak Boulevard
to "Wiederstein Road",
is hereby changed
