A RESOLUTION
REQUESTING THE TEXAS
TRANSPORTATION'S ASSISTANCE
RECONSTRUCTING AND WIDENING
DEPARTMENT OF

WHEREAS, plans are being prepared to construct a

WHEREAS, traffic needs of the area indicates the
need for improvement of Lookout Road: and
WHEREAS. Bexar County is submitting an improvement
project to the Texas Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS. various routes are being considered: NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS:

THAT the City Council respectfully request the Texas
Department of Transportation's assistance in constructing,
reconstructing and widening of Lookout Road to alleviate
anticipated traffic congestion subsequent to the completion
of Retama Park Race Track and Texas Horse Park.
II
THAT due to a lack of local funds, right of way,
utility adjustments and drainage cost be borne by others.
III
THAT prior to final design. if
