A RESOLUTION
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN PURCHASING
PROGRAMS OF THE STATE PURCHASING AND
GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas
pursuant to the authority granted by Section 271.081-271.083
Local Government Code, V.T.C.A., as amended, desires to
participate in described purchasing programs of the State
Purchasing and General Services Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council 1S 1n the opinion that
participation in these programs will be highly beneficial to the
taxpayers of this City through the anticipated sav1ngs to be
realized; NOW THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
THAT the City Counci 1 of the City of Schertz, Texas
does request that the State Purchasing and General Services
Commission include its stated need for Contract Class No(s). 285
and 287 on the Commission's annual contracts for those items,
whereby Kerry R. Sweatt, City Manager, is authorized and directed
to sign and deliver all necessary requests and other documents 1n
connection therewith for and on behalf of the City of Schertz.
