A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS, APPROVING THE CANVASS OF THE MAY 12, 2012
GENERAL ELECTION RESULTS.
WHEREAS, an election was duly held in the City of Schertz, Texas, an the 12`h day of May,
2012 to elect the Mayor and Counciimember Places 1, and 2; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor Pro-Tem and City Cauncil duly canvassed the vote of said election on
this the 15'h day of May, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the canvass showed the following results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION I
The City Council finds that the results of the general election as set forth above are coixect
and the canvass of votes is hereby approved.
SECTION II
The total of votes cast during early voting was 1172 by personal appearance, and 560
votes were cast on Election Day. The total number of votes cast in this election was 1732 ,
SECTION III
Hal Baldwin Is hereby declared to have been elected to
The Mayor.
Jim Fowler Is hereby declared to have been elected to
the Office of Councilmem6er Place 1.
David Scagliola Is hereby declared to have been elected to
the Office of Councilmember Place 2.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day May, 2012.
