Minutes - Consideration and/or action regarding the approval of the
minutes of the regular meeting of April 26, 2012. A motion to approve the
ininutes was made by Gail Hyatt and seconded by Tom DeKunder. The motiol
carried unanimously. M
Treasurer's Report: Consideration and/or action regarding the book
sales activity and other fiscal matters. Treasurer Lou Foehrkolb reported that
$269.58 has been deposited since the fiscal year began on October 1, 2011. Sinc&
initial publication, 548 books have been sold.
5. Schertz Historic Preservation and Landmark Designation Program —
consideration and/or action regarding the Schertz historic preservation and
landmark designation program. Chairman Weirtz outlined two factors that caus)

b. Program/agenda order and content was developed by Dean Weirtz and published to all
planners. There were a couple of changes to the program order as the planning progressed.
Copies of the program were supplied to each sponsoring organization.
c. Clarence Scheel developed a parking is that would accommodate the number of vehicles

satellite parking spot (St. Joseph's Chapel) and be shuttled to the dedication site. The parking

The seating was all contained in a wide shaded area which made for reasonablz

Book sales could not have been better. All 46 books had been sold within thirty minutes
following the beginning of guest arrivals. Another 15 orders for books was taken by the time
