AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SALE OF MIXED ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES AND BEER IN THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, GUADALUPE
COUNTY, TEXAS.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Schertz, Guadalupe
County, Texas:
(1) The City Council of the City of Schertz, Guadalupe County, Texas
does herewith adopt the hours prescribed for sale of mixed beverages for
counties having a population of Three Hundred Thousand (300,000) or more
as set out in Article 666-25 of Vernon's Penal Code of the State of Texas
within the corporate limits of said city.
(2) The City Council of the City of Schertz, Guadalupe County, Texas
does herewith adopt the hours prescribed for sale of beer for counties having
a population of Three Hundred Thousand (300,000) or more within the city
limits of said City of Schertz, Texas as provided by Article 667-10 of Vernon's
Penal Code of the State of Texas.
(3) Late hour laws for the sale of mixed beverages and beer as defined
in (1) and (2) above are herewith established as being from 12:00 AM to 2:00 AM
on allowable days of sale.
(4) A permit for late hour operation as contained herein will be obtained
from the City Secretary prior to any such late hour operation. Any such permit
issued for late hour operation for the sale of mixed beverages or beer may be
revoked at any time by the City of Schertz when deemed to be in the best public
interest.

the hours of One A.M. and Twelve noon on Sunday and on any other
day except Sunday between tte hours of Twelve midnight ahd Seven
A.M. As to mixed beverages, the hours when sales are prohibited
~rebetween Two A.M. and Twelve noon on Sunday and on any other
day between the hours of Two A.M. and Seven A.M.
