ORDINANCE NO. ~O 7
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ASSESSMENT OF RANCB:, FARM AND FOREST
LANDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY" THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Texas has made
certain provisions for the establishment of a uniform method of
assessment of ranch, farm and forest landa, which shall be based
upon the capability of such lands to support the raising of live-
stock and/or to produce farm and forest crops rather than upon
the value of such lands and the crop growing thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, The City of Schertz, Texas, as and when
provided by law will and shall assess such lands in the manner
hereinabove provided for.
