On this, the 6th day of May, 1975, at 7:00 o'clock
P.M. the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas, convened
at a Regular Meeting ~f the Regular Meeting place in the Muni-
cipal Building of said City in the City of Schertz, Texas,
which meeting was at all times open to the public, and at
which meeting the following members were present, to-wit:

There being a quorum
to order by the Mayor, and,
the following:
The Mayor introduced the following captioned ordinance
which was r~ iIl1 full by the City Manager. Councilman__

sidered by t e Council as an emergency measufe, which motion
was seconded by Councilmember 9.AA~./ .
Whereupon said motion was fully discussed and considered.
The Mayor put the motion to consider said ordinance as an
emergency measure to the members of the City Council and said
motion was approved and adopted by the following vote:

AYES: All Councilmembers present voted "AYE".
NAYS: None
The Mayor then introduced the hereinafter set forth
ordinance as an emergen;pmeasure. Thereupon it was moved
by Councilmember " 0 ~ .:: .Ie and seconded
by Councilmember / that said
ordinance be finally passed n adopted. The Mayor put the
motion to a vote of the members of the City Council and the
ordinance was finally passed and adopted by the following
vote:
AYES: All Councilmembers present voted "AYE".

ORDINANCE NO. 7S-- u- /0
AN ORDINANCE
ACCEPTING PROJECT IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED
BY THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY ON STREETS AND
PARK LAND PREVIOUSLY DEDICATED TO THE CITY
OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan for Buffalo Valley North
Project Tex. R-112, as contained in Amendatory No.4, Loan and Grant
Application, called for construction of storm sewers, street identi-
fication signs, sidewalks on main thoroughfares, covers for picnic
tables and cover for multipurpose slab in the park; and
WHEREAS, the project improvements contract for the above refer-
enced improvements has been completed and the improvements accepted by
the Urban Renewal Agency and the Department of Housing and Urban
Development; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The project improvements constructed as above identi-
fied and contained in the Fourth Amendatory Loan and Grant Application
and the Fourth Amended Cooperation Agreement with the Agency are hereby
approved and accepted.
SECTION 2. The public importance of this measure constitutes and
creates an urgent public necessity requiring that this ordinance be passed
and take effect as an emergency measure, and shall take effect and be in
force immediately upon and after its passage.
