AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, CANVASSING THE RETURNS AND DECLARING
THE RESULTS OF A CITY COUNCIL ELECTION HELD
IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 6, 1974.
****************************************************************
WHEREAS, there came to be considered the returns of a
City Council election duly and legally held in the City of Schertz,
Texas, on April 6, 1974; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has diligently inquired into
the poll lists and official election returns which were duly and
lawfully made to the City Council by the Judges and clerks holding
and conducting said election, said poll lists showing the votes
cast in said election were cast by resident qualified electors
of said City; and
WHEREAS, from said returns, this City Council affirma-
tively finds that there were cast in said election by resident
qualified voters a total of 2009 votes, of which number there were
cast for each respective candidate the following votes, to-wit:

That ROBERT C. BUEKER is hereby declared to be the
elected Mayor of the City of Schertz, Texas, for the ensuing term.
II
That the following persons are hereby declared to be
the elected Aldermen of the City of Schertz, Texas, for the ensuing
term: MRS. NELL G. FUNK, DONALD J. SEEBA, RAYMOND TABOR and LESTER
BULLOCK.
