BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, CANVASSING THE RETURNS AND DECLARING
THE RESULTS OF A CHARTER' ELECTION HELD

WHEREAS, there came to be considered the returns of a

WHEREAS, this City Council has diligently inquired into
the poll lists and official election returns which were duly and
lawfully made to the City Council by the Judges and clerks holding
and conducting said election, said poll lists showing the votes
cast in said election were cast by resident qualified electors
of said City; and
WHEREAS, from said returns, this City Council affirma-
tively finds that there were cast in said election by resident

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
That the Horne Rule Charter presented to the voters of
the City of Schertz, Texas, at an election duly and legally held
on April 6, 1974, shall be and is hereby declared the Horne Rule
Charter of the City of Schertz, Texas.
