AN ORDINANCE AlvrENDING AN ORDINANCE HERETOFORE PASSED
AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,
TEXAS, ON THE 7;1; DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1963, REGULATING
THE USE OF Smft.RS AND PROVIDING RATES FOR SBVJER SERVICE
IN THE CITY OF SCHERTZ; RATIFYING ALL THE OTHER TEilllJS
AND PROVISIONS OF SAID ORDINANCE OF FEBRUARY ~, .1963;
REPEALING THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE HERETOFORE PASSED AND
ENACTED BY THE CITY C01J"NCIL ON THE 2ND DAY OF JANUARY,
1964, AJI'iENDDm SAID ORDINANCE OF FEBRUARY -2-, 1963;
AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERElrlITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ,

That Section 7. of that ordinance heretofore passed and
enacted by the City Council of the City of Schertz, Texas, on the
7 day of February, 1963, regulating the use of sewers and pro-
viding rates for sewer service in the City of Schertz, Texas, be
and the same, is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 7.
FOR ANY CONl\'ECTION MADE BY AN"Y USER OF THE CITY'S SP.NITARY
SEWER SYSTEM, THE FOLLOlrlING CONNECTION FEE SHALL BE PAID
DOJl'iESTIC SE'VJER SERVICE
Single Family Residence

Per Residence $250.00
Per Family Unit $250.00
Description
Multiple Family Residence
A single family residence is one designed and built for
occupancy by one family. A multiple family residence includes a-
partments, duplexes or any building designed for residential occu-
pancy by more than one family. The connection fee for a residential
or residential equivalent connection shall be on the basis of $250.00
for the individual connection. Multiple family residence dwelling
units shall be charged connection fees of $250.00 per family unit on
the basis that each family dwelling unit is one residential equiva-
lent connection.
The cOlliiection fee shall be collected upon issuance of
the plumbing permit.

That all of the conditions, terms and prov~s~ons of said
ordinance of February ~, 1963, except as hereby amended, shall
remain in full force ana-effect and are hereby ratified, reaffirmed
and read opted.
III
That Ordinance SOli., heretofore passed and adopted on the
2nd day of January, 1964, amending Section 7. of that certain ordi-
nance passed and enacted on the 7 day of February, 1963, regu-
lating the use of sewers anu provraTng rates for sewer service in
the City of Schertz, Texas, is ~ereby repealed.

IV
This ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinan-
ces of the City of Schertz relative to the same subject matter,
except where there is irreconcilable conflict between this ordinan-
ce and any other ordinance heretofore passed, then the former or-
dinance shall be repealed to the extent of the conflict.
PASSED AN~ APPROVED on this, the 19th day of February,
1974.
