74-U-1 : AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING DEED OF DEDICATION FROM URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ OF STREETS, ALLEYS AND OTHER RIGHTS-OF-WAY LOCATED WITHIN BUFFALO VALLEY NORTH PROJECT, TEX. R-112. WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan for Buffalo Valley North Project, Tex. R-112 and the Second Amended Cooperation Agreement by and between the Agency and City of Schertz calls for the dedication of streets, alleys and other rights-of-way located within the Project area to the City upon construction and improvement in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; and WHEREAS, the project improvements contract for the con- struction and improvement of said streets has been completed and the streets accepted by the Agency and the Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHEREAS, a copy of said Deed of Dedication is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; now, therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ: 1. The Deed of Dedication, a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto, from the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Schertz dedicating all streets, alleys and other rights- of-way within the project boundaries of Buffalo Valley North Urban Renewal Project, Tex. R-112 to the City of Schertz for the use and benefit of the public is hereby approved and accepted. 2. The City Secretary is hereby authorized to record said Deed of Dedication in the Deed Records of Guadalupe County, Texas. R-112 DEED OF DEDICATION STATE OF TEXAS X KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF GUADALUPE X WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan for the Buffalo Valley North Urban Renewal Project, Tex. R-112, as amended, has been approved and adopted by City Council Ordinances; and WHEREAS, the Second Amended Cooperation Agreement by and between the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Schertz (herein- after called Agency) and the City of Schertz (hereinafter called City) dated the 9th day of November, 1972 provides that Agency will dedicate and City will accept dedication of all streets, alleys and other rights-of-way and further that the City agrees to cooperate in the undertaking, carrying out and completion of the said Urban Renewal Project in accordance with the approved Urban Renewal Plan, as amended; NOW, THEREFORE The Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Schertz, Guadalupe County, Texas HAS DEDICATED AND BY THESE PRESENTS DOES HEREBY DEDICATE unto the City of Schertz for the use and benefit of the public all streets, alleys and other rights-of-way located within the said Urban Renewal Project boundaries as more parti- cularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above-described premises, together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto the said Grantee City for the use and benefit of the public forever.
