AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
PROVIDING THAT THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE
(UDC) OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS BE AMENDED BY
REVISING ARTICLE IV, PERMISSIBLE USES, SECTION 5,
LAND USES, GENERAL BUSINESS (GB) AND SECTION 5,
LAND USES, MANUFACTURING DISTRICT (M-l);
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING A
REPEALING CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS:
SECTION 1
THAT, Article IV, Permissible Uses, Section 5, Land Uses, General Business (GB)
Reference Article XIV, Section 2.2 be amended by deleting the following:
"Adult Bookstore, Adult Motion Picture Theater, Nude Live Entertainment Club, Video
Store, Massage Parlor, Love Parlor, Adult Arcade, Nude Model Studio, Escort Agency
and Adult Motel (When Permitted by Law and Article XVIII, Section 6 this Code)" and
THAT, Article IV, Permissible Uses, Section 5, Land Uses, Manufacturing Distr~ct
(M-I) Reference Article XIV, Section 2.2 be amended by adding the following:
"Adult Bookstore, Adult Theater, Adult Cabaret, Sexual Encounter Center, Adult Motion
Picture Theater, Nude Live Entertainment Club, Video Store, Massage Parlor, Love
Parlor, Adult Arcade, Adult Novelty Store, Nude Model Studio, Escort Agency and Adult
Motel (When Permitted by Law and Article XVIII, Section 6 this Code)."
SECTION 2
THAT, this Ordinance shall be effective from and at, er its final passage and any
publications required by the City of Schertz
SECTION 3
THAT all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed, specifically Article IV, Permissible Uses, Section 5, Land Uses, General
Business (GB) and Section 5, Land Uses, Manufacturing District (M-l) of the UDC.
