BUDGET WORKSHOP RETREAT MEETING

A Special Pre-Budget Workshop meeting was held by the Schertz City Council of the City of
Schertz, Texas, on February 1 S, 2013, at 12:00 p.m., at the Northeast Lakeview College Library,
Room 200. The following members present to-wit:
Mayor Michael Carpenter
Councihnember Jim Fowler
Councilmernber George Antuna
Mayor Pro-Tem Cedric Edwards
Councilmember David Scagliola

Call to Order {General Comments
City Manager John Kessel

Mayor Carpenter called the pre-budget workshop to order at 12:10 p.m. with Mayor Carpenter,
Councilmembers David Scagliola, Jim Fowler, and George Antuna, Jr., present.
Welcome/Overview
• Presentation and discussion regarding the FY 2013-14pre-budget strategic planning

City Manager John Kessel led the pre-budget discussion.
At 1:05 p,m., a quorum was lost when Councilmember Antuna had to leave.
At 1:15 p.m., a quarum was regained when Mayor Pro-Tem Edwards arrived.
Mr. Kessel continued the pre-budget discussion with Council.
