CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL – TRAFFIC SAFETY ADVISORY COMMISSION
SEAT ALTERNATE TO ACT IF REQUIRED
HEARING OF RESIDENTS
This time is set-aside for any person who wishes to address the Commission. Presentations should be
limited to no more than 5 minutes. Each person should fill out the Speaker’s register prior to the
meeting and give it to the Chair. The Commission can only discuss items that are on the agenda.
Discussion by the Commission of any item not on the agenda shall be limited to statements of
specific information given in response to any inquiry, a recitation of existing policy in response to an
inquiry, and/or a proposal to place the item on a future agenda. The presiding officer, during the
Hearing of Residents portion of the agenda, will call on those persons who have signed up to speak
in the order they have registered.
1. Minutes: Consideration and/or action regarding the approval of the minutes of the February
6, 2014 Regular Meeting.
2. Arroyo Verde: Discussion and/or action regarding the sight distance issue on Arroyo Verde
and recommendation for correction. (Engineering/Public Works)
3. Silvertree Blvd: Discussion and/or action regarding the sight distance issue on Silvertree
Blvd and recommendation for correction. (Engineering/Public Works)
4. School Zone Maps: Discussion and update on the request from TSAC Commissioners on
current mapping concerns on all local schools and school zones. (Engineering/Public Works)
5. Green Valley Elementary: Discussion regarding the traffic issues surrounding the drop-off
& pick-up areas for Green Valley Elementary. (Engineering/Public Works)
6. Schertz Elementary: Discussion regarding the traffic issues surrounding the drop-off &
pick-up areas for Schertz Elementary. (Engineering/Public Works)
7. Mesa Oaks: Update on the open forum meeting held on February 12, 2014 regarding the
speeding issues throughout the subdivision. (Engineering/Public Works)
