CALL TO ORDER:
HEARING OF RESIDENTS
This time is reserved for any person who wishes to address the Library Advisory Board. Presentations
should be limited to no more than 5 minutes. The Board can only discuss items that are on the agenda.
Discussion by the Board of any item not on the agenda shall be limited to statements of specific factual
information given in response to any inquiry, a recitation of existing policy in response to an inquiry,
and/or a proposal to place the item on a future agenda.
REGULAR AGENDA
1. Minutes - Consideration and/or action regarding the approval of the minutes of May 5, 2014
2. Treasurer’s Report – Consideration and/or action approving the April 2014 Treasurer’s
Report
3. Librarians’ Report – Librarian will report on the following items:
• April 2014 Library usage statistics
• General operation of library during previous month
• SRC events
• Volunteer recruitment
4. Bookstore Report – Report on the following items:
• General operation of the bookstore during previous month
• Information on July book sale scheduling, set-up and break-down
DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION
5. Library Board Appointments and Officer Election—Notification of reappointments
and discussion and possible action on choosing a new chairperson.
6. FY15 Budget—Discussion and possible action on adoption of Library Board’s budget for
fiscal year 2014-15.
