AN ORDINANCE
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS
CANVASSING THE RETURNS AND DECLARING THE RESULTS
OF THE CITY OFFICER ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON
THE 4TH DAY OF APRIL 1981, AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, there came on to be considered the returns of a City
Council election duly and legally held in the City of Schertz, Texas, on
April 2j:, 1981; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has diligently inquired into the
poll lists and official election returns which were duly and lawfully made
to said City Council by the judge and clerks holding said election; and
WHEREAS, from said returns, this City Council hereby finds
that there were cast in said election by those voters who were resident
qual ified electors of the City the following votes:

been'so posted and remaining posted continuously for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of
said meeting. A copy of the return of said posting shall be attached to the minutes of this meeting and shall
be made a part thereof for all intents and purposes.
