81-D-7 ORDINANCE NO. f)/-D- '7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTIONS 18-32, 18-58, 18-76 AND 18-91 OF SAID CODE PROVIDING ADDITIONAL TRAFFIC LIGHTS ON FM 78, ESTABLISHING MAXIMUM LIMITS ON SPECIFIC STREETS, PARKING PROHIBI- TIONS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Section 18-32. Stop Intersection-Designated-Generally - be amended by adding the following: "Maske Road At the intersection of Live Oak Road" SECTION 2. That Section 18-58 Traffic Light Locations, be amended by adding the following: "(3) Intersection of FM 78 and FM 3009 (4) Intersection of FM 78 at Live Oak Road" SECTION 3. That Section 18-76 - Maximum Limits on Specific Streets - be amended by adding the following: "Farm Market Road 1518 From the intersection of Lindbergh Avenue to the intersection of Oak Street 20 MPH between the posted school signs when the lights are flashing. Maske Road From the intersection of Live Oak Road to the Wester- ly City Limits 30 MPH" SECTION 4. That Section 18-91 - Parking Prohibited - be amended by adding the following: "Maske Road From the intersection of Live Oak Road to the Westerly City Limits when signs are posted." SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 6. The public importance of this measure constitutes and creates an urgent public necessity requiring that this ordinance be passed and take effect as an emergency measure, and shall take effect and be in force immediately upon and after its passage.
