AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 78-F-7, DATED 4 APRIL 1978
SETTING THE WATER RATE FOR THOSE PERSONS OUTSIDE
THE CORPORATE LIMITS AT 150% OF THOSE INSIDE THE
CORPORATE LIMITS AND RESTRICTING THE SALES OF WATER
OUTSIDE THE CORPORATE LIMITS AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SCHERTZ, TEXAS, that

Section 27 of Ordinance No. 78-F-7 is hereby amended by
adding Subsection 27-e which section shall read as follows:
"27 e The uniform monthly rate charged to persons living outside the
corporate limits of the City shall be 150% of that charged persons living
within the corporate limits of the City."

Ordinance No. 78-F-7 is hereby amended by adding Section 18 A
which shall read as follows:
"18 A Sale of water outside corporate limits
Water shall only be sold outside of the city limits for residential
or other than agri culture busi nesses. "
III
The public importance of this measure constitutes and creates
an urgent public necessity requiring that this ordinance be passed and take
effect as an emergency measure, and shall take effect and be in force imme-
diately upon and after its passage.
